I dedicate my efforts to the practice of family law at the law office of Diane W. Spears in Boston, Massachusetts. I am experienced in all areas of divorce and family law including: division of marital property, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support (alimony) and post-divorce modifications. My clients rely on me to be a compassionate attorney and a vital source of information. I strive to help my clients make good decisions during a difficult time in their lives. Because court litigation is often costly, lengthy, and causes further deterioration of relationships, I encourage my clients to resolve disputes peacefully and cost-effectively.

I have been licensed to practice law in Massachusetts since 1979 and received a Graduate Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the University of Massachusetts in 1990. Some organizations that I belong to include the Massachusetts Association of Guardians Ad Litem (founding member) and Divorce Center, Inc. (current president and board member).
